MESSAGE

It gives me immense pleasure write on the occasion of the National
Tax Conference jointly organized by All India Federation of Tax
Practitioners (AIFTP), Indore Branch of CIRC of ICAI and Tax
Practitioners' Association, Indore on the theme “Knowledge,
Network & Transform” on 13-14th May 2023 at the proud Cleanest
City of the Nation - Indore and the committee is bringing out a
souvenir to mark the occasion.

The members of all the three associations have been playing a pivotal role in
shaping and sharpening the skills of Chartered Accountants & Tax Professionals
all over the country.
This Conference would cover the important aspects pertaining to Direct and
Indirect Tax Laws including recent reforms in the Taxation Regime in India. It is
pertinent to mention that over the last few years, Government of India has
implemented a series of citizen friendly structural reforms such as faceless
assessment and appeal and Taxpayers' Charter. These reforms have been ushered
in with the goal of reducing compliance burden of honest taxpayers, save them
from harassment and to improve the Ease of Living.

I am confident that the conference will generate useful ideas and suggestions for
further improvements in taxation laws and tax administration along with
improvising & enhancing Knowledge, developing new Network and Transforming
there practice in the new era to reach newer heights.

Amitesh Jain, CA Atishay Khasgiwala , CA Palkesh Asawa, CA Vineey Patni and CA
Yash Khandelwal for bringing such a wonderful publication for National Tax
Conference which will be a memorable token for all the members and
professionals.
