The Indore Branch of CIRC of ICAI is the second largest branch of the region and enjoys a coveted place in the fraternity. It is recognized for its habit of winning accolades at all levels, owing to its excellence in academics and high-quality programs. Be it industry, society or students, the Indore Branch has something to offer to everyone. The branch was founded in 1971 and is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year. It’s been fifty years of sheer hard work, foresightedness, commitment, and the acumen of its founders and torchbearers, that has placed the Indore Branch at this pedestal. The branch has not only partnered in the nation’s progress through its various activities but has also sought to catalyze growth and bring about a positive change in society.
The Branch has more than 4900 distinguished members who continue to prove their mettle thereby strengthening the brand ‘ICAI’ in the corporate world. Its strength lies in more than 10000 students for whom the Branch has started High-tech Reading rooms and Coaching Classes for CPT and IPCC course at a nominal cost, keeping in mind this need for under-privileged students. The Branch stands in the cleanest city of the country on its own land, has state of the art infrastructure, which comprises of a superbly designed building, housing an air-conditioned auditorium which has a capacity of 550 people. The Branch also has a Board Room, Library, Accountancy Museum and classrooms for academic dissemination. It is the first branch of India having the privilege of a street adjoining the branch, to be named as “CA Street”. In addition, the garden behind the branch has been named “CA Udyan”, which it maintains and is used by members and students alike in keeping themselves fit. Needless to say that the Indore Branch pays heed to 360* development.
Winning is a habit at the Indore branch. It has been adjudged as the ‘Best Branch’ regularly in the Mega Category as it hosts a plethora of activities throughout the year, including National Conferences, Workshops and Certificate Courses of the institute for its Members. Keeping up with changing trends, these activities are now organized on digital platforms to keep the spirit of learning alive. The Branch also organizes sports activities, cultural events, social gatherings for its members.
The Branch further takes initiatives in organizing programs for the general public at large on economic issues concerning the common man, by associating with various non-professional bodies. By doing so, it not only fulfils its social obligations, but also creates awareness in the society, of the role played by Chartered Accountants. The Branch is committed for taking new initiatives on various fronts and is also contributing to nation building by carrying out Skill development programs and academic CSR with the University, Skill development organization and local administration.
